Effective January 2018

Chelmsford Youth Lacrosse Association (CYLA) has in the past had players from other towns play in our program. This issue has caused friction with other towns and hurts the growth of the game in those towns that surround us. We endeavor to support other towns as we would want to be supported in growing the game in our town. CYLA will no longer accept out-of-town players based on residency unless their town does not have a lacrosse program or cannot field team(s) at a specific age group(s). CYLA will allow past Chelmsford Youth Lacrosse players who reside in another town, who have kept current with CYLA yearly registration to continue until they graduate or leave the program for one season (Grandfather clause).
